  1. Installation from new
  2. ---------------------
  3. This version is 32 bit compatible. Users who do not
  4. have an IYONIX need to update their system. To do this...
  5.  
  6. - Open the folder SYSTEM.ZIP
  7. - Double-click on !SysMerge
  8.  
  9. Donæt try to run TechWriter from the CD.
  10. Insert the CD double-click on the folder TECHWRITER/ZIP
  11. and drag TechWriter on to your hard disc.
  12.  
  13. When you first run TechWriter you will be asked to enter your name.
  14.  
  15. Once you have installed TechWriter you will be able to open the
  16. CONTENTS document which will give further details.

  18. ArtWorks
  19. --------
  20. If you want to view documents containing ArtWorks files you will need 
  21. to install (or update) !AAViewer into !Boot/Resources.

  23. Open The folder AWVIEW172/ZIP for details.

  25. Confix Installation
  26. -------------------
  27. !ConfiX must have been 'seen' by the filer before the client 
  28. application can launch it. It is therefore best placed inside
  29. the '!Boot.Resources' directory on your harddisc.
